All travelers on package tours will be covered under our group insurance AIG Travel Guard ® Classic Plan. You can choose to upgrade to a higher coverage plan at your own expense.
Note:
Kindly retain all the relevant travel documents such as e-tickets, boarding passes, insurance policy, receipts etc for claim purposes if any.
Everyone including children and infants must hold a valid passport to enter Country of destination. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of return.
It is recommended that you have a photocopy of your passport kept aside with you when you are traveling overseas. This will be useful in the event of a lost or stolen passport overseas.
The currency unit of China is the RMB . You can easily exchange for RMB at most money changers in Singapore.
Please double-check that the name on the issued flight itinerary is as per the passport.
Please bring along credit cards and Singapore dollars (SGD) for emergency purposes. Please bring along notes that are in smaller denominations. Major credit cards are widely accepted. As all banks are increasing their security measures, it is advisable to notify your bank before departure that your credit card(s) will be used overseas.
Most credit card companies have disabled overseas ATM cash withdrawals and point-of-sale (POS) magnetic stripe transactions. If your card(s) is / are not activated, please contact your credit card company to do so.
If you need to travel with large quantities of medication, it is good practice to pack them in different luggage and bags, in case you encounter any baggage loss or delay. It is recommended that you pack additional quantities of medication beyond what you require. Keep all medication in the original, labeled condition to avoid problems at customs.
Please prepare some N95 or FFP2 masks, disinfectant wet wipes, hand sanitizers, and ART test kits for the trip.
Your check-in luggage and hand-carry bag are limited to 1 piece per person
Important Notice:
All spare lithium batteries and rechargeable battery packs such as power banks are not allowed in check-in luggage. They must be carried in hand-carry bags only.
Note:
Ensure that your luggage is durable and securely locked and tagged with the necessary tag for easy recognition. Check-in your liquid, gels, aerosols, and sharp items as they are not allowed to be carried in hand-carry bags.

Water is safe. However, we suggest all travelers drink distilled water that can be bought easily during the tour.

All travellers to Singapore including foreign visitors and returning residents are required to declare and pay the duty and Goods and Services Tax (GST) to bring in dutiable and GST-payable goods exceeding their duty-free concession and GST import relief.
Travellers are granted GST import relief on new articles, souvenirs, gifts and food preparations (excluding intoxicating liquors, tobacco and goods imported for commercial purposes) brought into Singapore for their personal use or consumption. The relief amount is based on the value of goods the traveller brings in and the duration that the traveller has spent outside Singapore. Travellers will have to pay GST on the value of the goods which is in excess of the GST import relief granted to them.

Note:
Holders of a work permit, employment pass, student pass, dependent pass or long-term pass issued by the Singapore Government are not entitled to GST import relief.
Travellers are entitled to duty-free concession for liquors if the qualifying conditions are met. There is no duty-free concession and GST relief for all cigarettes and tobacco products brought into Singapore.

Note:
For convenience, travellers are encouraged to make an advance declaration and payment of the GST and/or duty using the Customs@SG web application. Alternatively, travellers can declare and pay the GST and/or duty for their goods at the Customs Tax Payment Office. Travellers are advised to keep the receipts of their overseas purchases to facilitate the computation and verification of tax payable in Singapore.

Duty-Free Concession and GST Import Relief:
You may be able to get a tax refund during departure. Please check with your tour manager/leader on the details for package tours.
- Replacement of group check-in with individual check-in, whenever possible, at airports and hotels
- Implementation of alternate seating on coaches and increased frequency of cleaning, disinfection, and opening of coach doors for air circulation
- Reduction or replacement of buffets with individually served meals
- Assigned seating among groups except for travelers in the same booking
- Commentaries on a coach or via whisper audio sets on site, whenever possible, and assignment of meeting points at less crowded locations
- Masks must be worn whenever required by local health authorities

Nevertheless, all travelers must take personal responsibility for their well-being and adopt safe physical distancing and hygiene practices before and throughout the tour to help keep one another safe and healthy.
E-Register is a free online service provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to all Singaporeans who are traveling to a foreign country. You are advised to log on to MFA e-register to register your trip. The use of the service is voluntary.
